We love this little Ice cream shop!!
I have had the ice cream a few times, and it is delicious. Creamy, refreshing, and in generous portions with interesting flavors.
We sampled the pizza on this trip, and it was SO GOOD. The style is a little unusual. It has a very thin crust that gets quite crisp, and all of the pizzas are single serving. This is untested, but it seems like you get as many toppings as you want without further charges. My husband had the standard pepperoni, and he loved it. I'm a lover of chicken wings, so I was excited to order the Buffalo chicken pizza, and it really hit the spot. Pretty spicy but not too overwhelming, cheesy, indulgent, and flavorful.
I also really enjoyed looking around the artisan gift shop that is attached to this location. I found several Christmas gifts for family while waiting for my pizza.
Overall, a really nice option for a quick dinner in French Lick. It is a short walk from the resort, and it is very family friendly. We will definitely be back, maybe even on this trip!
A great stop in downtown French Lick! It's right next door to the French Lick Museum and attached to the Bear Hollow Wood Carvers.
In fact, Bear Hollow is the same owner so you'll see some great woodwork going on in French Licks too! Their tables and booths are handcrafted and they have some fun wood statues like Larry Bird and Groot.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the ice cream, but it was recommended to use by several people at the French Lick Resort.
We were though on a mission for coffee and enjoyed an Americano and latte. They use local beans for their espresso and coffee drinks. They also serve pizza as well.
Nom nom nom! If you are looking for a sweet, cold, refreshing treat to help keep you from melting while you are walking around French Lick, head in to French Licks for some delicious ice cream and sorbets.
The flavors are unique and special with some like pecan pie, or key lime pie..
I mixed key lime with a cherry almond dark chocolate to create a cherry limeade cheesecake kind of sensation that really worked for me!
Be sure to stop into the wood workers shop that is attached and has some cute, cool, funny, and quirky items for sale.
Don't forget to ask for a military discount at both places! They honor our veterans with a discount.
They serve beer and wine, plus everything here- signature pizzas, ice cream flavors, bottled sodas, ambiance- is pretty unique.
The woodworking is a spectacular visual treat!
The pizzas are made on a very thin crust and are all 10" size. I wish we had tried one of the signature pizzas, but the kids weren't feeling that adventurous.
They had a Larry Bird documentary playing on the TV.
The employees were all very nice, and it was a relaxed atmosphere. It was a good experience!
My family and I have been coming to French Licks for their ice cream and coffee for years, so we were very happy when they expanded into pizza and beer!
They had a variety of pizza toppings and 'specialty' pizza offerings that we all enjoyed. I tried the Taco Pizza and really enjoyed the soft pretzel sticks with nacho cheese.
The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for and the staff was wonderful! We'll definitely be returning!
We decided to try out French Licks Ice Cream after dinner. I am so glad we did.
This store is in the middle of a museum and wood carving store. This place incorporated various wood carvings into the décor of the store.
They have some rather unique flavors like maple bacon Ice cream. I wanted to try out Mississippi mud ice cream since it reminded me of north Tonawanda New York. We enjoyed the store and are glad we visited.
